Rolo Diez
''Certainly a book to read not only for its insight as to how to survive in Mexico but also for the sexy crime adventure that it ultimately is.'' Shots Magazine
''A bent copper in Mexico City is the hero of this short, sharp, cynical novel. Tequila Blue is something like a Peckinpah movie: violent, funny, sad, as hot as salsa, as tasty as tacos and twice as enjoyable...'' The Independent on Sunday
Born in 1940, Rolo Diez came late to writing. While a student, he joined an armed revolutionary group resisting the military dictatorship in Argentina. He was captured and, after two years in prison, finally freed in 1977. He took refuge in Europe and lived hand to mouth, surviving on odd jobs. Rolo Diez found some stability and an appetite for writing when he settled in Mexico in the early 80s.
